A Landmark for Everyone

Landmark is the first large-format book retailer in India. With nine stores in the cites of Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Vadodara, Gurgaon and Pune, the stores offer books (100,000 titles across different sections), magazines, music titles, stationery and greeting cards, curios, toys, home accessories, and other gift items. Landmark's USP is the range and depth of its stocks and its customer service.

Landmark started as a single bookstore back in 1987 at the Apex Plaza, in Chennai. It later expanded in size and range of products as it made its way to other cities across the country. In August 2005, the company was acquired by Trent, which also has Westside and Star Bazaar as its other brands. Today, there are Landmark stores in Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Baroda, Gurgaon and Pune and plans are underway to expand further. Most of these stores are located within larger malls, capitalising on the current retail boom and impulse buying trend in the country.
